Teaching

As a saxophonist, composer, and educator, I’ve developed my teaching practice through years of work in university settings, music schools, and private studios. I’ve taught at SUNY Stony Brook, NYU, the New York Musicians Center, and Codarts University, working with students across a wide range of ages, levels, and musical backgrounds. My approach blends instrumental technique, music theory, improvisation, and creative exploration, shaped by the diverse experiences I’ve had performing and teaching in New York and Europe. I aim to give students a strong technical foundation while also helping them build confidence, curiosity, and their own artistic voice.

I offer private lessons in saxophone and composition, tailoring each lesson to the student’s goals; whether that’s developing sound and technique, learning improvisation, writing music, or deepening overall musicianship. Lessons are structured, supportive, and designed to make progress feel both clear and enjoyable.
